Episode 3! The continuation of a new Colorado music community and forum! We hope to serve as a resource for local and frequently visiting artist and bands to showcase their talents, along with open discussions and Colorado music related news. Please reach out and let us know your thoughts, either in the comments below or on the social of your choice. If you are an artist or have a (reasonable) guest recommendation, let us know. Thank you immensely for watching! M&M

About our guest: Published poet and musician Jackson Maloney writes his songs from a refreshingly genuine perspective. With topics ranging from love, hardship, inner turmoil, friendship, and family, Jackson reminds us of our innate ability to to relate through song. We were lucky enough to have him stop by the DownBeat studio and play 3 original songs for us; Those Who Have Not, Things To Live For, and Mom, She Redid The Kitchen. You can find Jackson touring the open mic circuits; he frequents the License No. 1 open mic in Boulder, and the Mercury Cafe open mic in Denver. You can also find the link to his poetry book titled, “Becoming” in the links below. Please give him a warm DownBeat welcome, and let him know how much you liked his performance!
